Choosing a Balm Size: Samples, Face Use and Body Use

Jar size is easiest to choose when you think about how often and where you will apply a balm. Compare net weight and pack contents rather than relying on photographs.

For a first trial

A smaller jar or sample can be useful when assessing an unfamiliar scent or texture. Our skincare range includes a sample listing with several options. Read the selected variant carefully: an individual sample and a set of multiple balms are different purchases.

For face use

A concentrated balm is usually applied sparingly. Start with a small amount and follow the formula's directions. A smaller container may be convenient if you plan limited-area use, but there is no fixed number of applications that fits every person. The amount you use determines how quickly a jar is finished.

For body use

Regular application to larger areas may make a larger jar more practical. Check the current options and compare the price per stated weight. Do not assume that two jars with similar photos contain the same quantity.

For travel

Choose a tightly closed container that fits your packing needs and applicable travel restrictions. Keep it away from excess heat and pack it to contain possible leaks. Warmth can soften whipped textures.

Whatever size you choose, use clean hands, keep added water out, and follow the label's storage directions. Patch test a new formula before wider use.
